Who is Trever Nehls?

CONSTABLE, PCT. 4 FORT BEND COUNTY

Hello, my name is Trever Nehls, and I am a candidate for Ft. Bend County Sheriff. I have lived in Fort Bend County for close to 30 years, and I call Fort Bend County my home for many reasons. I can think of no greater place to work, raise a family or start a business, as  Fort Bend County is a safe and secure environment.

My wife Kerri and I have three children who are educated in Fort Bend County schools, and the educational opportunities are endless.  Additionally, Fort Bend County offers countless opportunities to achieve your dreams, expand your knowledge and contribute to humanity.

I feel I am the best candidate for Sheriff, as I have served and protected all residents of Fort Bend County since 1993. I retired from the Sugar Land Police Department in 2011 because of being elected to serve as Constable, Precinct 4, Fort Bend County.

During my tenure as a law enforcement officer and leader, I have instilled a motto of Service before Self. I believe public service needs to be “selfless service” versus “selfish service”. For the past 27 years, I have worked tirelessly to bring a “peace-of-mind” to all residents, that Fort Bend County is a great place to live and raise a family.
